July 17 Heated Events this SummerI knew things would get very heated this summer when Mars joined Saturn in Leo. Saturn has been languishing in the fire sign for more than a year now and will continue its slow plodding through it for another year or so, making passionate Leo men and States reap the karma they have sowed for the past 29 years. This is a regular cycle for Saturn, which takes about 2.5 yrs to transit each sign around the Zodiac. As with any fire sign, feelings can turn to arguments, which Saturn keeps in check, but Mars does not. So I knew sparks would fly, fires would burn literally and emotionally, and pages of history would be written. Nature mirrors this by drying areas of land, striking it with lightening and creating large wildfires. This has been the problem in the southwestern US and in California. Now we are seeing this especially in countries where the Lion rules, namely the Middle East. Lions will continue to roar and fight for awhile. It's in their nature. The energy has been building for some time, and they have to let it out. Until the end of July, there will be explosive demonstrations. Then when Mars moves into more contemplative Virgo we can all sit around the table and discuss solutions during the Fall months. May the innocent be spared, may justice be restored to the region. |
